Dr. Faisal Siddiqi, a board-certified cardiovascular specialist trained at Yale and Cornell, leads our Princeton center. With dual fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and vascular interventions, he focuses on catheter-based and ultrasound-guided treatments for chronic venous insufficiency.
Joining Dr. Siddiqi is Dr. Ankur Aggarwal, a board-certified vascular surgeon with extensive experience in treating venous disease. Together, they offer a full spectrum of non-surgical solutions for spider and varicose veins backed by evidence-based practices and exceptional patient care.
What Is Vein Disease?
Chronic venous insufficiency occurs when vein valves stop working effectively, allowing blood to pool in the legs. This causes symptoms such as swelling, heaviness, pain, and visible veins. Left untreated, it can lead to skin damage, pigmentation, or even ulcers.
At our Princeton clinic, a diagnostic ultrasound is performed in-office to identify venous reflux and guide a personalized treatment plan suited to your health goals.
At our Vein Treatment Clinic in Princeton, we treat:
- Venous insufficiency: This condition underlies most varicose vein and swelling symptoms and is confirmed through ultrasound imaging.
- Spider veins: Surface veins caused by genetics or circulation issues. Treated cosmetically or as part of broader venous care.
- Varicose veins: Bulging, twisted veins often associated with leg pain or fatigue. Modern techniques can resolve them without surgery.
- Leg cramps and heaviness: Often overlooked signs of vein disease that worsen with prolonged standing or activity.
- Leg swelling: Persistent leg swelling may suggest deeper vein issues and should be assessed with ultrasound.
Is Vein Treatment Right For Me?
During your consultation at our Princeton vein clinic, we evaluate your symptoms and may perform a venous reflux ultrasound on-site. Our specialists will explain your results and guide you through every step of the process.
- Confirm if your symptoms stem from venous insufficiency and assess treatment needs.
- Identify whether your goals are medical, cosmetic, or both—and tailor your care accordingly.
- Select procedures such as ablation, sclerotherapy, or phlebectomy to match your clinical findings.
- Discuss all insurance requirements and ensure proper submission and approval prior to care.
Vein Treatments Offered in Princeton, NJ
Sclerotherapy
Effective for treating spider veins and small varicose veins, this solution-based injection causes vessels to shrink and disappear naturally over time.
Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
A catheter-based technique that uses controlled heat to seal refluxing veins. It is the gold standard for venous insufficiency and is performed in-office.
VenaSeal™
A non-thermal option that uses medical adhesive to close diseased veins. VenaSeal is gentle and effective, especially for sensitive vein anatomy.
Foam Sclerotherapy
Used for larger or deeper veins, this foamed solution treats varicosities that are not ideal candidates for thermal ablation.
ClariVein®
A unique, rotating catheter method that delivers sclerosant mechanically and chemically, offering excellent cosmetic and medical outcomes.
Microphlebectomy
This outpatient procedure removes bulky varicose veins through tiny punctures for immediate cosmetic and physical improvement.
